Genki Global Dining Concepts is based in Tochigi Prefecture, where the company was founded. UTSUNOMIYA BREX have a vision of being "a team that is close to the community and invigorates and livens up Tochigi Prefecture," and the two companies agreed to work together to contribute to revitalizing the local area.
In addition, we will participate as a partner company in the SDGs-based project "BREX With" promoted by Tochigi Brex, the operating company of UTSUNOMIYA BREX. By supporting this activity, we aim to take action to solve local issues "together" to realize a better society, revitalize the region, and improve corporate value.
Starting Saturday, October 12th, UOBEI logo will be displayed on the basketball goal posts at UTSUNOMIYA BREX home games. Additionally, UOBEI stores in Tochigi Prefecture will use flags and stickers with the UTSUNOMIYA BREX logo, and the name and logo of the official sponsor will also be included in our publications.
In addition, we will actively promote "BREX With" activities and support the realization of a better society.

By holding "Home Game Invitations" for elementary school students, we hope to convey the appeal of playing sports to children who will lead the future. With the COVID-19 pandemic now classified as Class 5, various events are being revived one after another. UTSUNOMIYA BREX is also putting more effort into the community contribution activities that it has always valued, and as part of its BREX With activities, it is working with companies to solve the problems that local people face. The team name UTSUNOMIYA BREX Brex is a coined word made from the word BREAK THROUGH (to break through the status quo), and it expresses the team's strong desire to break through preconceived notions and blow a hole in the sports world, basketball world, and Tochigi Prefecture. The team's philosophy is to continue to be "a highly loved and motivated team." This is a strong team that was the first B.League champion in 2017 and is set to win the championship for the second time in 2022.
